Deep Fried Dried Anchovies with Honey Sauce |

Ingredients: 1 small bowl dried anchovies 1/2 red chili pepper Chinese basil appropriate amount white sesame appropriate amount Mixture1(70g crystal sugar, 112g water) Mixture2(1/2t spice oil) [t = teaspoon; T = tablespoon; C = cup ] Method: 1)Wash and mince the red chili pepper and Chinse basil. 2)Heat 2 cups oil to 160 degree celcius in a pan. Deep-fry the dried anchovies until medium crispy and take out for use. 3)Heat Mixture1 until the crystal sugar is melted in the pan in medium heat. Add all the ingredients and mix well. Sprinkle Mixture2 before take out and serve on plate. TIP: The deep fried dried anchovies served with thick honey sauce create an unforgettable crispy sweet taste and fragrance. The oil temperature and the heat must be high enough in order to deep-fry the dried anchovies till crispy. |
