Kidney Beans with Red Oil |

Ingredients: 112g kidney beans 1/2 red chili pepper 5 cloves garlic Mixture1(1/4t salt, 1/4t chicken broth powder, 1/4t sugar, 1t chili oil) [t = teaspoon; T = tablespoon; C= cup]
Method: 1)Wash the red chili pepper, remove the footstalk and seeds and mince. Peel and mince the garlic. 2)Boil the kidney beans in hot water for about 8-10 minutes and take out. Soak in ice water to cool down. Take out and drain for use. 3)Put all the ingredients in a container and mix well with Mixture1. Leave it for about 5 minutes until properly seasoned and serve on plate.
TIP: Kidney beans have an extremely light taste and are seasoned with chili oil to achieve full spiciness. Thus, the fresh and tender texture of the beans is fully preserved. Kidney beans take longer to cook well because of their thickness. Thus, their fresh sweetness and fragrance can be tasted. |
