Lotus Seed Soup with Solomonseal Rhizome

Ingredients:

8 gram Solomonseal Rhizome

3 slices Lily Bulb

4 pcs Lotus Seed

2 pcs Red Dates

2 pieces Chicken

100 ml Water

Quarter teaspoon Salt


Method:
1) Scald skinned chicken in boiling water, rinse and put into stewing pot.

2) Remove cores from lotus seeds and seeds from red dates.

3) Put all ingredients into stewing pot, pour in water and stew for 3 hours. Add in quarter teaspoon of salt and serve it while hot.
