Dong Guei Duck Soup

Ingredients:
1/2 duck
4 slices "Dong Guei"*
2T "Qi Zi"*
10 black dates
2 slices "Sheok Teh"*
2T "Chuan Kong"*
Sufficient water
Mixture1(320ml rice wine, 1/2t salt)

[t = teaspoon; T = tablespoon; C = cup]

Method:
1)Wash Dong Guei, Qi Zi and black dates. Drain and set aside
2)Rinse duck, drain and cut into bite-size pieces.
3)Pour sufficient water in a pot and bring to boil. Add in duck pieces,
Dong Guei, Qi Zi, black dates, Sheok Teh, Chuan Kong and rice wine.
Simmer until duck meat is tender. Add salt to taste, pour into serving
bowl; serve.

 

Remark:

*Dong Guei, Qi Zi, Sheok Teh, Chuan Kong are chinese herbal, it can be purchased at

any Chinese herbal drug store.
