Ingredients:
300g winter melon
50g dried scallops
50g shelled prawn
50g lean pork
3 mushrooms
20g carrot
1 stalk spring onions
1t salt
[t = teaspoon; T = tablespoon; C = cup]
Method:
1)Peel carrot and remove skin of winter melon. Cut both into bite-size
pieces. Rinse prawn and pork, slice pork in thin paper-size. Soak
mushrooms in warm water till soft, trim stems and cut into quarters.
Cut spring onions into small sections.
2)Rinse scallops and soak in a bowl of warm water until soft. Place the
bowl in a steamer and steam for 20 minutes. When cool, shreds. Retain
the
water from steamed scallops for later use.
3)Bring half a pot of water to a boil. Add in winter melon, carrot and
mushrooms. Cook for 20 minutes. When it boils again, add scallops,
prawn
and pork, switch to low heat and cook for additional of 5 minutes. Add
salt, spring onions and pour into serving bowl; serve.
