Malay Bamboo Shoot in Yellow Gravy (Rebung Masak Lemak Kuning)

Ingredients: (Serves 6-8)

500 gram Preserved Bamboo Shoots

1 pc Fish Head

1 cup Thick Coconut milk

2 cup Thin Coconut milk

8 stalks small green chili

3 stalks lemon grass

3 cm piece fresh turmeric

A dash of Salt

Method:

1. Finely pound small green chili, lemon grass, fresh turmeric.

2. Wash and drain the preserve bamboo shoots

3. Put all ingredients into a pan and cover up with think coconut milk and set to boil. Stir continuously.

4. Add in think coconut milk and boil again. Add in a dash of salt and stir well.

6. Serve.
