Malay Beef Meatballs (Bergedil Daging)

Ingredients: (Serves 4-6)

500 grams Minced Beef

3 cm piece Ginger

3 large Onions

10 Shallots

10 clove Garlic

5 Green Chilies

1 tbsp Flour

3 tbsp Milk Powder

200 grams Potatoes

3 Egg Yolk

8 stalks Mint Leaves

3 stalks spring onions

300 grams Bread Crumbs

Salt and Pepper to taste

1 tbsp Oil

Method:

1. Mix all minced beef, ginger, onions, shallots, garlic, green chillies, salt and pepper.

2. Heat up a pan. fry mixed ingredients for 10 minutes. Cool it set aside.

3. Mix in flour, milk powder, mashed potatoes, spring onions, mint leaves and egg yolks together.

4. Make into rounded ball shape and roll into bread crumbs before deep frying.

5. Pick up fried balls and drain the oil set aside before serve.
