Ingredients: (Serves 6-8) 1 piece Dorab fish (head part, cut into halve) 8 Dried Chillies 6 Shallots 3 cloves Garlic 3 cm piece Ginger 2 stalks Lemon Grass 8 Ladies' Fingers 2 pieces Asam Gelugur 6 cups Water Half tsp Salt Method: 1. Ground together shallots, garlic, ginger, dried chillies finely. 2. Crushed lemon grass finely. 3. Heat up a pan with some oil. Pour in 6 cups of water and boil it. Add in grounded ingredients, crushed lemon grass, asam gelugur and salt. 4. Add in the fish and ladies' fingers and boil under moderate or medium fire until the ladies' fingers is well cooked. Cover up the pan for 10 minutes. 5. Serve while it is hot. |
