Malay Fish in Hot Spicy Gravy (Singgang Asam Pedas)

Ingredients: (Serves 4-6)

3 pieces White Fish (Tuna, or Threadfin)

8 dried Chillies

1.5 bowl of Water

4 Shallots

4 Clove Garlic

1 tbsp Shrimp Paste

3 tbsp Tamarind Juice

Some turmeric and ginger sliced

Salt and Seasoning

Method:

1. Mix all ingredients and season with salt. Taste if good.

2. Wash and dried the white fish.

3. Set up charcoal fire, grilled the fish one side first, then flip over, until both side is well cooked.

4. Serve the fish while fresh hot, go with the sauce either pour on top or add in as wish later.
