Malay Vegetable Rice (Nasi Sayuran)

Ingredients: (Serves 4-6)

1 tsp Cummin

2 cloves Garlic

2 star Anise

100 gram Tinned Corn

100 gram Diced Carrots

5 cups Rice

6 cups Water

4 Small Red Onions

4 cm Piece Cinnamon

2 tsp Ghee

1 tsp Salt

Method:

1. Grind garlic, cummin, and onion together.

2. Fry ghee, ground ingredients, cinnamon and star anise until the fragrant smell come up.

3. Pour in water and boil it.

4. Put in rice and stir until dry. Add in vegetables.

5. Continue cook the rice with close up the pan cover until it is cooked.

6. Serve with fried onion.
