Ingredients: (Serves 4-6) 2 medium size Fish 3 stalk Ginger Flower 15 Shallots 10 Red Chillies 8 clove Garlic 5 cm piece Ginger 4 cm piece Fresh Turmeric 2 tbsp Shrimp Paste 8 Candlenuts 2 tbsp Tamarind pulp mixed in 2 cup of water 5 tbsp Oil Salt and Sugar to taste Method: 1. Wash and slice the fish into 4 cm thickness. 2. Cut ginger flower into fine strips. 3. Ground shallots, chillies, ginger, garlic, turmeric, shrimp paste together finely. 4. Fry the ground ingredients with some oil in a heated pan. Stir fry until fragrant. 5. Add in shredded ginger flower, tamarind water and salt. Set to boil and add in sugar to taste. 6. Put in the fish when the soup is boiling. Simmer until the fish is well cooked. 7. Serve while hot. |
