Peranakan Fried Rice

Ingredients: (Serves 4-6)

500 gram cooked Rice

4 Beaten Eggs

2 Large Onion

2 clove Garlic - crushed

5 tbsp Pounded Dried Shrimps

Some shredded Lettuce leave

5 tbsp Oil

Salt to taste

Method:

1. Slice onion thinly.

2. Heat up a pan with some oil. Fry the egg until cooked and shred with ladle and set aside.

3. Heat up the pan again with some oil and fry the crushed garlic until golden brown and fragrant. Add in onion and fry until limp. Set aside the garlic and onion.

4. Fry the dried shrimps until fragrant.

5.Add all ingredients except lettuce and fry for another 5-10 minutes. Mix well the ingredients with rice.

6. Serve with shredded lettuce as garish.
