Simple Turmeric Rice for Curry

Ingredients: (Serves 4-6)

500 gram Rice

5 screwpine Leaves

4 cup Coconut Milk

150 gram Fresh Turmeric

2 stalk Lemon Grass

5 cm piece Ginger

Salt to taste

Method:

1. Wash and drain the rice and set aside.

2. Wash the screwpine leaves and tie a knock.

3. Crush lemon grass and ginger.

4. Pound turmeric to extract the juice.

5. Heat up a pan with some oil, put in rice, turmeric juice, lemon grass, ginger, coconut milk, screwpine leaves, salt together and set to boil.

6. Cook with low frame until the rich is dry and absorb all the gravy.

7. Remove the screwpine leaves, lemon grass and the ginger.

8. Serve with any type of curry.
