Braise Sea Cucumber

Ingredients:
2 sea cucumbers
2 bamboo shoots
1/2 carrot
1 red chilli
4 mushrooms
2t salt
2T soy sauce
2T sugar
2T cornstarch
1t sesame oil
[t = teaspoon; T = tablespoon; C = cup]

Method:
1)Clean and cut sea cucumbers in bite-size pieces. Clean, slice and strip off the bamboo shoots and carrot, shredded red chilli. Soak mushrooms in warm water and trim the stems.
2)Heat oil, sautéed red chilli and mushrooms for 2 minutes. Add sea cucumbers, bamboo shoots and carrots stir well for additional 1 minute. Add salt, soy sauce, sugar and water. Stew until the soup going to dry, thicken by cornstarch, sprinkle with sesame oil; serve.
