Authentic Spiced Chicken |

Ingredients: (Serves 6-8) 1 Large Chicken 4 medium sliced Onions 3 cloves crushed Garlic 3 cm piece sliced Ginger 1 tsp ground Black Peppercorns 1 tsp Turmeric Powder 4 slit lengthwise and seeded Green Chillies 1 tbsp Vinegar Half cup Tamarind Juice 3 tbsp Oil Salt to taste Method: 1. Wash and cut the chicken into pieces. 2. Heat up a pan with some oil and fry the onions until golden color. 3. Put in garlic and ginger fry for 3 minutes. 4. Add in chicken and stir constantly. Cover up pan and cook on medium low heat, stirring constantly for 30 minutes. 5. Add in pepper, chillies, turmeric and tamarind juice. The liquid should enough to cover the chicken. 6. Set to simmer until gravy is thicken. Add in vinegar and stir well. 7. Serve while hot. |
