Chicken Masala

Ingredients: (Serves 6-8)

1 large size Chicken

6 large Tomatoes

12 Shallots

5 cm piece Ginger

1 pod Garlic

2 cm piece Turmeric

1 tsp Cummin

5 cm piece Cinnamon

5 cloves

3 Cardamoms

5 tbsp Ghee

Salt to Taste

Method:

1. Washed and cut the chicken into 7-8 large pieces.

2. Washed and chopped roughly the tomatoes.

3. Grind shallots, garlic, ginger, turmeric, cummin, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamoms finely together.

4. Rub the paste all over inside out the chicken. Leave for an hour.

5. Heat up a deep pan with some ghee, add in the chicken and tomatoes.

6. Cover the pan tightly and set to simmer until the chicken is tender.

7. Serve with garnished chopped coriander leaves.
