Chicken Pasandh

Ingredients: (Serves 6-8)

4 Chicken Breasts

1 cup ground Coriander

5 tbsp ground Cashewnuts

1 large Onion

8 cloves Garlic

1 tbsp Lime juice

6 tbsp Yoghurt

5 cm piece crushed Ginger

3 Cinnamon sticks

6 Cloves

4 Cardamoms

2 Nutmeg

1 tbsp Aniseed

1 tbsp Chilli Powder

1 cup Oil

Salt to Taste

Method:

1. Wash and cut the chicken breast into 8 pieces.

2. Grind onion and garlic finely.

3. Grind cinnamon, cloves, cardamoms, nutmeg, and aniseed together finely.

4. Heat up a pan and fry onions, garlic, ginger, coriander, and cashewnuts with some oil until fragrant.

5. Add in all remaining ground spices and chilli powder, lime juice and stir well for 5 minutes.

6. Put in chicken and mix well.

7. Add in yoghurt and salt, stir and mix well.

8. Pour the chicken curry out onto a baking dish, then bake for 90 minutes through medium heat oven until chicken is tender. Serve hot.
