Dry Fried Chicken

Ingredients: (Serves 6-8)

2 kilo gram Chicken in pieces

5 tbsp Ghee

4 large sliced thinly Onions

3 tbsp Chilli Powder

Half cup Water

1 cup Yoghurt

Marinate Ingredients:

3 cloves crushed Garlic

5 cm piece grated Ginger

1 tsp Garam Masala

2 tsp Salt

1 tsp ground Coriander

1 tsp ground Cummin

1 tsp ground Turmeric

A small cup Yoghurt

Method:

1. Mix marinate ingredients thoroughly, rub all over the chicken pieces. Set aside for 90 minutes.

2. Heat up a pan with ghee and fry the onions until golden brown. Set it aside.

3. Add in the chicken in the same pan and oil, fry until golden brown on very side.

4. Put in the chilli powder, and all remaining marinate ingredients with half cup water.

5. Cover up the pan and simmer until the chicken is tender.

6. Add in the yoghurt, fried onions and continue simmer for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
