Fragrant Curry with Minced Meat and Potato

Ingredients: (Serves 6-8)

500 gram Minced Meat

3 large finely chopped Onions

3 cloves chopped Garlic

5 cm piece grated Ginger

1 tsp ground Turmeric

2 tsp ground Coriander

2 tsp ground cummin

4 tbsp Lemon Juice

700 gram peeled and quartered Potatoes

3 cups Hot Water

3 tsp Garam Masala

Salt to taste

4 tbsp Ghee

Method:

1. Heat up a pan and fry ghee, onions, garlic, and ginger until golden brown.

2. Add in turmeric, coriander, cummin and stir for 2 minutes.

3. Add in lemon juice and salt.

4. Add in the minced meat, stir well until the meat is browned.

5. Put in potatoes and hot water, set to boil to simmering point.

6. Lower down the heat, cook until the potatoes are well done, meat is tender and cooked. Make sure to stir continuously to avoid the curry stick on the base of the pan.

7. Put in some garam masala and stir well.

8. Serve and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
