Ingredients: (Serves 6-8) 1 Large Chicken 3 cloves finely chopped Garlic 1 tsp Salt 5 cm piece finely grated Ginger 1 tsp ground Cinnamon 1 tsp ground Nutmeg 1 tsp ground Black Pepper 1 tbsp Ghee 3 tbsp Oil 1 fresh chopped Green Chillies 1 cup ground Cashew Nuts 2 hard boiled Eggs 3 Tomatoes 1 cup boiled Green Peas Some boiled Cauliflower Sprigs Method: 1. Washed and cut the chicken into pieces. 2. Mix together ginger, garlic, salt, and ground spices, rub over the chicken. Set aside for 1 hour. 3. Heat up a pan with some ghee and oil, brown the chicken pieces. 4. Put in ground cashew nuts and cook for 5 minutes. 5. Pour in half cup of water, cover up the pan and set to simmer over medium low heat until chicken is cooked. 6. Take up the chicken pieces and place on a plate. 7. Put in green peas and cauliflower sprigs into the pan and fry with the gravy. Toss around well. 8. Lift out and pour aside on the chicken pieces. 9. Garnish with quartered hard boiled eggs and serve with fragrant rice or parathas. |
