Indian Idli or Steamed Rice Cakes

Ingredients: (Serves 4-6)

400 gram Raw or Uncooked Rice

300 gram Black Lentils

3 tbsp Cooked Rice

Half tsp of Salt

Method:

1. Soak the rice in water for 5 hours. Also soak lentils in water for 5 hours.

2. Grind uncooked rice and cooked rice finely together. Grind lentils separately finely.

3. Mix all ingredients together, stir to mix well until it form the paste.

4. Pour this paste into little small molds and steam for 25 minutes until cooked. Serve with curry or chutney.
