Indian Minced Lamb or Mutton |

Ingredients: (Serves 6-8) 600 gram minced Mutton / Lamb 3 tsp Coriander 1 tsp Cummin 1 tsp Aniseed 12 Dried Chillies 4 cm piece Fresh Turmeric 4 cm piece Cinnamon Stick 5 Cloves 5 Cardamoms 12 small Onions sliced 4 cm piece shredded Ginger 1 cup of thick Coconut Milk 3 chopped Tomatoes 4 tbsp Oil Method: 1. Heat up a frying pan without oil, dry fry the coriander, cummin, turmeric, chillies, and aniseed. Pour all out and grind finely. 2. Heat up the pan again with some oil, fry the onions, ginger, cloves, cardamoms and cinnamon stick. 3. Put in ground spices and fry until the oil separates. 4. Add in the minced meat and some salt to taste. Stir fry thoroughly, mix well and cover up to simmer for 20 minutes. 5. Add in coconut milk and tomatoes, then cook with medium to low heat until the gravy gets dry. 6. Serve hot with fragrant rice. |
