Ingredients: (Serves 6-8) 800 gram Flour 1.5 cup warm water 1 tsp Salt 4 tbsp Ghee 2 Egg Sugar to taste Method: 1. Beat the egg, mix with flour, water, and sugar. Knead out a soft dough until the shape is formed. 2. Form into many small balls and set aside overnight. 3. Making the roti canai, spread the ghee over the balls and flatten it. Make it as thin as possible, then fold over to form an rectangular envelope shape. 4. Heat up an iron griddle, fry the bread on it until cooked. 5. Serve while hot with curry or dhall. |
