Original Shami Kebabs

Ingredients: (Serves 6-8)

600 gram minced Beef

1 cup Split Peas

3 chopped Onions

1 tsp Chilli Powder

1 tsp Turmeric Powder

2 Eggs

Some Mint Leaves

Some Coriander Leaves

Salt to Taste

Some Oil for frying

Method:

1. Soak split peas in water for 2-3 hours, boil together with mince meat until soft. Drain thoroughly.

2. Put through a mincer with onion, mint, chilli powder, coriander leaves, salt and turmeric.

3. Beaten up eggs and mix with the minced ingredients and make into round cutlets.

4. Heat a deep frying pot with oil, put in the round cutlets for deep frying when the oil is hot.

5. Serve with Chutney.
