Simple Liver Curry |

Ingredients: (Serves 6-8) 500 gram fresh Liver 3 sliced Onions 3 cloves Garlic 5 cm piece sliced Ginger 4 cm piece Cinnamon stick 1 tsp Turmeric Powder 1 tsp Fenugreek 1 sprig Curry leaves 12 dried Chillies 1 tbsp Coriander seeds 1 tsp Cummin 2 cup Coconut Milk 2 tbsp Oil Salt to taste Method: 1. Broil together dried chillies, coriander seeds, and cummin in frying pan, then remove and grind finely. 2. Wash and cut the live into thick slices. Drain and set aside. 3. Get a deep sauce pan, add in liver, coconut milk, and all ingredients except ghee. 4. Set to boil, when the liquid is already absorbed into the liver, remove the liver. 5. Heat a pan with ghee, fry the liver until brown. 6. Add in the thick gravy and cook for another 15 minutes. 7. Serve while hot or garnished with some fresh thin sliced ginger. |
