Yoghurt Mutton & Dhall Curry |

Ingredients: (Serves 6-8) 600 gram Lamb or Mutton cubed 1 cup soaked Dhall 1 tsp Garam Masala 1 small bunch of Coriander Leaves 1 cup Yoghurt 2 large chopped Onions 8 Shallots 5 cloves Garlic 1 tsp Cummin 3 tsp Chilli Powder 1 tsp Turmeric Powder 5 tbsp Oil 2 cup of Water Method: 1. Grind shallots, garlic and cummin together finely into a paste. 2. Marinate the mutton with the ground spice, yoghurt, and salt for at least an hour. 3. Fry the onion with some oil until golden. 4. Put in meat and slightly fry both side, browning the meat well. 5. Add in the remaining marinade ingredients, dhall and garam masala with some water also. 6. Stir and mix well, reduce to low heat and set to simmer for 25 minutes until the meat is tender and dhall is cooked. 7. Serve while hot and garnished with chopped coarsely coriander leaves. |
